The Singing Bowls of Integratronity

Landers, California, a giant rock, George Van Tassel’s transporter to the extraterrestrial, and a bunch of lovelies. A gently spirited cardiac nurse gives sound baths in the woodened dome titled The Integratron. The Integratron is a place emerging beyond expectation. The Integratron is constructed entirely of wood, beautifully hued wood and purifying white paint.Listen to singing bowls in the bubble on the desert floor and affection for the possibility of sound and music flourishes. I imagine that sound is a form of community. Maybe perhaps all senses are. Or maybe perhaps the senses allow us to perceive how much community there is to adore and admire. I am thankful for all mechanisms that allow for the perception of sound because it reminds me of an existence that is incapable of being egocentric.

"I see that the life of this place is always emerging beyond expectation or prediction or typicality, that it is unique, given to the world minute by minute, only once, never to be repeated. And this is when I see that this life is a miracle, absolutely worth having, absolutely worth saving. We are alive within mystery, by miracle."
Wendell Berry
