The Adventurist Spirit

I didn't know that John Muir is cited as the discoverer of Glacier Bay in 1879. As I stood in front of a very different ice pouring into Glacier Bay I believed I experienced something in Nature most resembling of God's power. I am grateful for a beautiful creation and the people in it. The people in my life and the sites I have seen offer me so much undeserved love. They are creative art, which words and still images can suspend and stop time to show graciousness. My intention is to do that here.

"to dine with a glacier on a sunny day is a glorious thing and makes common feasts of meat and wine ridiculous. the glacier eats hills and drinks sunbeams." John Muir
